They say he’s too powerful; you can’t give him problems. But Superman is a metaphor. For me, Superman has the same problems we do, but on a Paul Bunyan scale. If Superman walks the dog, he walks it around the asteroid belt because it can fly in space. When Superman’s relatives visit, they come from the 31st century and bring some hellish monster conqueror from the future. But it’s still a story about your relatives visiting."

Without the benefit of 3D, it’s gonna be tough for The Dark Knight Rises to beat these guys…
It had to take all of your b-list “super heroes” to get together for one mindless action romp, an alliance with disney, their marketing frenzy, the guy who wrote buffy, & the price of 3d tickets just to get on the same level as The Batman, ONE character, who doesnt even have gimmicky super powers to depend on unless you count his sheer determination, intelligence, and fortune as a “power.”
Thats reeeeeeally not something to brag about.
Besides box office intake isnt everything, when all is said and done, TDKR’s STORY and DEPTH will be the reason itll be a superior film overall.
